Limited Quest Event

Swimming with Fish LTQ Reward and Prize List – Crime City

So here is the new LTQ – Swimming with Fish. As usual, it’s done in 3 parts, Beginner, Normal and Elite. There is a hefty prize for completing all the parts and some decent prizes for each individual part. Just keep in mind this is going to take a TON of energy to complete. For example, in Beginner the final "Boss" is 14 hits at 219 Energy per hit. It’s not bad for a prize of 6168/5047 atk/def, but it’s going to get pretty rough as you work your way down the list. Still, I don’t see why a Brick is considered a prize for this event. That’s just kind of stupid.

Good Luck!

Devil’s Night LTQ – Jobs and Rewards List

A new event has begun, another Limited Time Quest (LTQ). Judging by the number of tasks for each level, I don’t expect to get too far with this one. Looks like you need to clear each level before moving on to the next one. Going to take a lot of energy to finish this one off. I don’t have the pre-hits I normally do, so this could be a dud. But doesn’t look like that big a deal. The weapons aren’t that fabulous for this round. Odd that we don’t get a nice boost in stats until level 20. Oh well, back to harvesting cash. We’ll see if I can hit Level 20.

Blood and Bones LTQ Jobs and Rewards List – Crime City

The new Limited Time Quest is at hand and thanks to The Reaper, here is a list of the items you can win. Honestly, they aren’t that great, but then again maybe that’s not a bad thing. Maybe we need to back away from those 60k prizes and slow things down just a touch. Since these LTQ events have showed up I’ve made no forward progress in the game. I haven’t moved passed Broadway in months. Taking a breather would be a good thing. I know a lot of people are getting distressed with the amount of time and gold you need to invest in this game these days. I’m not spending any real cash on gold for this game, but I can easily see how low level players can amass 400k in attack and defense if they do. It used to be this was a sweet blend of Simcity and Grand Theft Auto. You built your hood, invested in properties to maximize your cash return and then bought weapons to defend yourself against the impending attack. It really has lost that feel. It’s become a frantic race to built Elite buildings and snack elusive weapons and spend more gold than your competitors.

It also used to be that the weapons you won were based on your level so a brand new player could get the same weapons as a level 100 player. I think Gree needs to bring that back. You should have to work a little harder to get the kickass gear. But that’s just me. I’m not going to spend gold and I’ll keep playing the way I do. If I get my ass kicked and all my buildings robbed, then so be it. It’s only a game. Hell, I’ve played this game far longer than any other on my Ipad. But Ace Patrol 2K Games and Dead Man’s Draw by Stardock could easily pull me away.

I’ve got some kickass weapons, I’ve made a billion in cash, but things are starting to get a little one-sided and the fun of building up forces and checking in from time to time is getting lost. But oh well, here are the prizes for those playing along. Check out the full details in the forum post.

Thorny Rhapsody – Limited Time Quest Event – Crime City

A new event is at hand, and a typical Limited Time Quest Event. Hopefully those pre-hits I did beforehand will pay off for this round. The items don’t look too bad, once you get halfway through of course. If things go my way I could get through Normal Mode. No way in Hell Elite Mode is coming my way.

Good luck!

Update: Just finished All the quests on the Normal Level and got the Reinforced Flack Jacket. That will make a nice edition. I still have 10 hours left to make some progress on the Elite Levels. Plus, I’m only a couple hundred points away from a level bump. That might get me a couple of new weapons to add to my collection.

Update #2: I got through Level 11 and scored the Classic Cadillac. That’s about it for me, but a damn fine run none the less. That is a slew of new weapons to take into combat with me. Not enough time and nothing pre-hit for the next go round. But I’m happy with my results in this one and have no need or want to spend gold on going any further. Now it’s time to wait for the battle and get working on the next LTQ.

This is the for the final prize, I haven’t actually completed this portion yet.
