Relax on the Beach, Beachfront Retreat Limited Time Building (LTB) – Crime City

Gree has posted the new Limited Time Building (LTB) for Crime City and this one goes in a different direction than all the other. This time around we have a defense building with 10,000 defense to start. The reward for completing each upgrade is a new BMW Beach Roadster with 21725/14483 Atk/Def +1% Car Attack. On the surface it doesn’t look half bad, a way to increase your defense and perhaps keep some urchin thieves at bay. But look at the cost of this thing! It starts at $100 million. The first upgrade is $116 million. Jump to the end and it’s $10 BILLION for the final upgrade. Without any modifiers this building will cost $25 Billion to finish. And that’s before you use any gold to actually beat the clock.

Even with a 50% Cost Reduction it still costs $4.9 Billion for the final upgrade and $12 Billion overall.

People kept asking for a super expensive LTB and here it is. This is clearly out of range for most players. I thought I had quite a stockpile of cash for the next LTB, but I won’t hit Level 7. Nor would I want to. This is an utter waste of cash. As some argue, what’s the point of spending $5 Billion if you’ll never get it back. I can upgrade a Pagoda and the West End Gems for this money. I’ve started to build 1 and because I have the 50% cost reduction I might go as high as Level 4, but that’s it. This gives me plenty of time to upgrade the rest of my hood.

So, who’s got the cash to take this one all the way? If not, how far do you plan on upgrading? I’m curious to know what other people think.

Syndicate Event – Battle for Empire City: Seaside Shoot-out – Reward List – Crime City

So the new Syndicate Battle – Battle for Empire City: Seaside Shoot-out is at hand. The new war offers plenty of prizes both as a Syndicate and as an individual. Not only are there prizes for the Top 4000 and above, there are prizes for the number of battles you win in a row, the number you win total and the number of fights you win as a participant. If you play your cards right, there are a ton of prizes to win. But you have to battle hard and probably spend at least a vault of gold in order to hit the big numbers.

One thing that stands out is the final prize in the individual tier. It jumps from 500 wins to 1200 wins with nothing in between. The prize jumps from 5154 atk to 53613 atk. Wow, the difference is shocking. Seems a bit harsh on the part of Gree to make the gap so wide. In the grand scheme I won’t even get close to that so it doesn’t matter to me, but I bet some of the heavy hitters are a little frustrated.

Anyway, enjoy the battle, good luck and if we do happen to cross paths on the field of battle, all I have to say is, "not in the face! not in the face!"

Stanfa Thugs and Family LTQs Jobs and Rewards List – Crime City

Gree has put out a new LTQ/SLTQ and it’s a little bit on the confusing side when you first get started. The SLTQ portion is fine, it’s the usual energy based event of hitting the target hundreds of time to move on to the next level. The LTQ is a bit odd in that you either have to complete The Stanfa Thugs portion before you can complete the Stanfa Family portion.

You need certain weapons to defeat certain family members. You can either complete the Stanfa Thugs portion or simply buy the items you need with gold or respect points. Yes, the respect points are actually going to be used for something. It comes off a little strange, but simply put, you need to complete levels in the Stanfa Thugs before you can complete jobs in the Stanfa Family event.

Hey, at least they’re trying something new.

Anyway, here is a list of the prizes available. These come compliments of The Reaper and you can click the link below to see the entire table and get involved in the conversion. This is the abbreviated version for people like me who just want to know what each prize is worth.

Good Luck! And there is a thread at Gree where you can offer feedback on this new style of event. Keep it constructive!

SL-ICE Rink New Limited Time Building (LTB) Cost and Reward List – Crime City

Here’s the new SL-ICE LTB aka “Some Blood On The Ice” is here. It’s a 10×10 building with a payout every 24 hours and an initial cost of $900,000. This building is huge and I had to do a lot of shuffling to make room for it. I have to admit, the payout is pretty piss poor at $364k every 24 hours. You’re not going to build a massive income with this one. But, it’s dirt, dirt cheap so you should be able to fund this one with coins from your cushions.

Just keep in mind, you don’t get the prize until the upgrade is COMPLETE. This is different from the previous LTB prizes which you got as soon as you STARTED. Unless I’m mistaken, to get the level 10 prize, the building has to Complete before times run out.

Also, some people should have a 3% Build Time Reduction to help shave off a few hours.

Without any modifiers the build out will cost you around $225 million. That should make all the low level players happy. In fact, my new low level player actually put one of these up. With $20 million on hand, that account might make a decent income off this. For my main account it really means nothing, but I’m going to build it all the same to get the weapons. The weapon stats are actually quite decent compared to the price.

Not sure how long this one will stick around after the event, but I still have my Burlesque Tents so go figure.

So, who’s going to build and keep this rascal? Either way, good luck!
