Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol Bundle

If you’re looking for something a little different, Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol is well worth looking into. The idea of a turn based aerial combat may sound a little strange, but this implementation works really well. The idea is quite simple – build a squadron of pilots and complete your missions. Earn upgraded planes and skills for each successful run. Missions includes photographing enemy areas, destroying munitions, shooting down enemy planes and even a couple of rescue missions.

It’s quite a bit of fun and as you progress and learn trick maneuvers you’ll see how they can save you when the enemy is hot on your tail and unleashing fiery death into your backside. I picked up Ace Patrol for both iPad and PC and have a great time heading out for a mission. There is now Pacific Skies which is standalone expansion to the game. These hit the street at a mere $4.99 each, but you can grab both for $2.79.

Like I said, if you’re looking for something new, give this a shot.

Battle to Rule the Skies!

The skies over Europe are a dangerous place, where ace pilots lead their squadrons to glorious victory or crushing defeat! Take control of dozens of the most famous fighter planes of WWI and head into the dogfight. Roll, slip, and loop to get the drop on enemy aces. Upgrade your fighters over the course of your campaign and promote your best pilots so they learn new skills to give them an edge in battle. Can you change the tide of the war? Or will you go down in flames to an enemy ace?

Battle to Rule the Pacific Skies!

Take flight over the treacherous Pacific waters where ace pilots redefine historic World War II battles! Skillfully pilot the most iconic American and Japanese fighter planes of the Pacific War while representing the army or navy. Upgrade your fighters and promote your leading pilots so they master new skills needed to ambush an enemy VIP, rescue POW pilots or torpedo bomb enemy targets! Can you turn the tide of war? Or will you go down in flames to an enemy ace?
