On Deck, Outback Aussie Ale

The Hefeweizen has been completed, there is still time left in the day and we all know what that means. It’s time to make another beer! For this go round it will be the Outback Aussie Ale. I made this early last year and it was pretty good. It was a bit of problem beer though. It had a lot of fermentation and kept overflowing in the carboy. This time it will be made in a 6.5 gallon tank so we’ll see if there’s any difference. It was still a good beer and well worth having again. It was a darker ale, but easy to drink. Should make for a good beer when the temperature starts heating up in another month or two.

By the way, making beer while watching Top Gear or Oz and James Drink to Britain is quite excellent. If you haven’t watched Oz and James talk about beer it’s very educational and entertaining.
