Sherlock Holmes Collection $0.99 for the iPod

I’ve decided to try and expand my use of the iPod and not limit myself to games, web browsing, watching movies, tracking my calories eaten or listening to music and have decided to get some books to read during the several minutes of free time I have during the day.

I stumbled across a volume of Sherlock Homes last night as a free download and within 5 minutes laid out the $0.99 to buy the complete works. KiwiTech has a great little reader that presents the text on a old style background that resembles a scroll or old papyrus. The text is very readable and when you get through that screen you simply press the right side of the screen and the page turns.

The software is very easy to navigate, as is switching volumes. And to select a new story you simply click the index button and get the Table of Contents. For right now I like this style a little more than the scrolling teleprompter method. And for $0.99 this is a complete steal!
