AFKSoft WordSearch Puzzle for iPhone and iPod Touch

So many word games, so little time!wordsearch.jpg

Here is another of my latest acquistions, WordSearch from AFKSoft. If you recall, AFKSoft is also the group that makes Worded Pro which has turned out to be one of my favorite games. I play this game all the day. Whenever I have a spare 5 minutes I’m usually playing a quick game.

I’ve had the desire to get a word search game for the past week or so. However, a lot of the games in the app store seemed pretty bland. They had pre-programmed boards and their repeat playability seemed limited. By some good luck I noticed that AFKSoft made a word search game and since I like Worded so much I bought their other game. At $0.99 I figured I really had nothing to lose.

Even though these guys are selling games for $0.99, they aren’t cheap. These are full featured and beautifully rendered games. The games are glossy with quality graphics. The setup and gameplay is easy to use and follow.

Word Search is a great little game. You can make simple boards as well as much more complicated layouts. Selections of words is easy and you can choose what kinds of words will actually show up in the list. The biggest benefit though is that the layout is random, the words may be used more than once, but the layout won’t the be same each time. This gives you great playability whereas the other only had a finite number of games you could play.

This really is one of the best word search games out there and how can you say no to $0.99? I’ve already played a few rounds since buying this last night and can tell, that just like Worded Pro, I’ll be playing this one all the time.
